In these situations, the bed alarm for under the mattress doesn’t work. The bed alarm on the mattress has the same setting capabilities as the bed alarm under the mattress. The bed alarm can be adjusted so that the alarm sounds before the person actually leaves the bed. The bed alarm has a button to set a delay so that false alarms can be prevented.

The bed alarm for on the mattress is placed under the mattress at the height of the shoulders or hips.

The cord of the bed alarm is linked to the nurse call.

The bed alarm on the mattress is acoustic for an environment where there is no nurse call. There is an acoustic box.

An extension cord can be used to place it in another room. Furthermore, it is equal to the standard bed alarm.

The wireless bed alarm on the mattress is designed for an environment where no nurse call system is available and the

distance to another room is too large, to use an extension cord to bridge.

The maximum range of this system is 30m depending on the environment in which it is used.
